  This place must be the best value in Reykjavik. I walked into my room and had a mini-jaw drop as I saw the quality of the furnishings, the comfortable bed, the NEWness of everything, and a well-stocked kitchenette. Breakfast is a tray of goodies - bread, jams, cheese. The front desk staff is VERY nice and helpful. P - Everything was great - clean, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped (wifi in room, kitchen facilities, ipod dock), and the bath was lovely. The staff were friendly & helpful, dealing with some of my tourist queries including phone calls to local tour companies. The location is very central and you can walk to all shopping, bars, restaurants, harbour etc. Most tour companies pick up and drop off outside the hotel.

  My friend and I stayed here for 5 days in May. The location is perfect for walking around the city, but far enough from the noise of the bars. We got a room on the 4th floor with a balcony (no elevator). We stayed at the address where you check in. We booked a studio apartment with a full bed. Rosa and Sneabjorn was absolutely fantastic, they booked us tables at there favorit restaurants for most of the nights we where there and they were all great places to eat. The kitchen in the flat was perfectly adequate, it had all we needed and some. The beds was super comfortable. The cost peformance is very very good. I wish I could have stayed longer. There is a washing machine and a dryer, although other building. This definitely helped us.   Fantastic location, just behind the busy main street but just quiet at night. Nice size apartment, modern and with all amenities needed. We did not cook as there lots of great restaurants in the area but the apartment had a microwave, cooker, toaster, coffee maker and fridge. We stayed in the top floor, room 202 so it was nice and quiet. Parking - Very good location next to the city centre, not far from the main bus station.
