  I liked the food served (and nearby restaurants), the ready drinks service, the wooden guys sitting around the lobby, the room we were given (ground floor, with one of our party weak on walking), the willingness to call a taxi when asked, the neat design of the room, esp. bathroom.   The apartment was in a geat location, very central for shopping, restaurants and the quay. Also nearby was the tourist information centre where we booked all but one of our excursions. The apartment was warm, cosy, spotlessly clean, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed, including a corkscrew. The house itself is a wonderful old building with bags characther located in a very narrow, almost hidden away street. Furthermore, as an added bonus, the hosts seem to know everyone and everything of interest in Reykjavik and Iceland, be it about the newest fad in the restaurant/nightlife scene or about what
