  The food is sensational. Chef Victor Varga is seriously good. The monastery is a quiet retreat with comfortable monk cells that have been converted with mondern furniture and bathrooms. There is high speed internet in common areas and many interesting loft and library areas. There is a television room. The monastery is a 5 minute taxu trip outside... wat mensen zeggen » of Sopron well worth visiting for some relaxation. This is so much more interesting than the ordinary run of the mill hotel. This was my second visit - A perfect place for a relaxing weekend in an enchanting atmosphere! Everything is top-level: service, cleanliness, food and room design. I strongly recommend having a dinner at the monastery, the experience won't be full without it.

  Beautiful, spacious rooms with fabulous bathrooms (all new). Everything was very clean and comfortable. Suite great for families. Great location, excellent restaurant a short walk away and the town centre was within easy reach. - Super-friendly personnel, excellent wine cellar, very nice private outdoor terrace. Rooms spacious and well-furnished... wat mensen zeggen » , modern bathroom equipment. No airconditioner, but it is not required - it was cool even in +27C outside.
