The breakfast in the morning is another highlight. - We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

  The best atmosphere we've ever experienced. The hotel is run by a family which lives in the same building (a couple and their 8 year old son). The lady does all the organizational work (reception, breakfast cooking etc). The area where the hotel is situated is very quiet with almost no traffic (at least we could not hear any at night and in the mo... wat mensen zeggen » rning). We were surprised by the amount of information the lady (who speaks very good English) provided us with upon arrival. Extensive info about the - Everything. The owner is the real deal, does not just go thru the motions but really cares that you are happy and taken care of. Takes the time to go the extra 100 miles, for advice to plan your day or your trip, to make custom eggs for breakfast, to make sure you have everything you need in your room. The place is nice, the rooms are clean and modern. The fact that it is in the suburbs is a slight inconvenience that I would gladly suffer again to stay here. The busstop is a 2 minute walk, come

  Wonderful Place! I noticed that they take all the review comments seriously and make immediate improvements. Some one commented that there was no soap in the bathroom. We we checked in there was so they took this customers response seriously. It is an apartment and not a hotel so you feel so much at home. I wanted to stay for few more days.   Friendly Staff. Family run (at least looked like). Good location if you look for something near Industrial Areas. Quiet location. No traffic noise - cheap accomodation, near the highway and near to Budapest, relatively clean. Lady at the desk speaks a little German so basic communication was possible, which can be sometimes quite hard in Hungary.... wat mensen zeggen » You can pay in Euros or Forints.   That was excellent place to stay - and dog friendy. Staff and owner was extremaly helpfull, food was fresh and delicious. Very clean and nice place in friendly enviroment on the isle of Szentendre. I dicovered the best strawberry wine I've ever drink available only on this Isle. Free wi-fi was working good and free parking was available.   Eitan was very nice and helpfull for a good price. We had the 4 person room. It was better then our expectations. Top location very close to the night life. I can recommend this hotel to everybody. - Very nice staff, the location and the price! Although in the center of the city, it is quiet and we have a very sweat sleep! Bathroom has two showers and two basins. Ignore the nonsense elsewhere abou no locking doors, perfectly obvious that showers are in use when shower door and curtain shut. Kitchen has cooker, microwave, free tea and coffee, percolator, everything you need. Fridge and freezer for guests. Wi-Fi and pc for guest use, no charge.TV In room.
