  I have participated at the Budapest Nike Half Marathon and I choose this hostel because is across the Start/Finishing line. The hostel is very well situated for sports, museums, Zoo and because it is very close from Petoffi Hall where often take place rock concerts.   the staff was very nice and helpful (advising places to see, if i had problem they were always there), the hostel is very cosy and friendly. Its a hostel, not a luxury hotel. It's a great place for a group of young and cheerful tourists.

  We stayed there 3 nights and we enjoyed it. The room was clean, so the bathroom and the kitchen. It was good that we were close to the center of Budapest, we had shops, malls, restaurants, everything close to us. The bus station and the metro station was also close, so as a location it was great. The fact that we had free access to the internet wa... wat mensen zeggen » s good, because in this way we could keep in touch with our family and friends. - Great location. Got there from the airport within 45 minutes on public transport. Very near to the M1 and M3 metro lines and the 4 + 6 tram lines so could go anywhere fast. Friendly manager who spoke good English. Rooms were simple but adequate with a comfy bed and a good pillow. We thought it was good value for money.

He went out of his way to explain the map of the city to us, pointing out what sights to see, what to avoid, what times of day to visit etc. He was a mine of information and made us feel very much at home. Having some inside information and guidance on the city really helped us to get the most from our journey. Thanks Again Szilard!
