From the very first moment we had a nice feeling from the staff, they were very kind, friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathroom were perfectly clean. Very central location, the staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English, which definitely isn't a given in Hungary! I had booked the apartment instead of a normal room (by accident, purely) and the huge condo for €29/night was excellent value for money! Lots and lots of room, high ceilings and quiet neighbours. Excellent location, everything is within walking distance, but there is also an underground station (Blaha Lujza ter on M2) right in front of the hotel. Because it's not central located, prices in shops and restaurants are up to 75% lower, plenty of them around the corner. Quiet beautifull old building, big rooms, clean, very helpfull staff (our bus for the next day was cancelled, but they found another one and also made the reservation for us), safe building and area. We loved this apartment set in a bustling busy square... we were greeted by Tomas who was wonderful, it was our first trip to Hungary and he spent loads of time giving us recommendations for great places to go and things to try!
The location was fantastic.. just a couple of minutes walk from the Oktogan Metro stop and very close to the main nightlife strip (but not close enough to be bothered by it)..
We explored the whole city by foot from the apartment, couldnt have been better!

The staff at the guesthouse were very friendly and informative about
Budapest. The rooms were big and bright and cleaned every day. It was
nice and warm inside (which made a big difference when it was snowing
outside). There was a wide variety of different food options at
breakfast, so everyone is catered for. They even organised airport
transfer to/from the airport. I stayed here with my mum and she
couldnt fault the place. We both loved it! :)
