  Archondissa is a family run hotel. The owners are very friendly and they are responding fast to any inquiry (before stay and during stay). The hotel is situated on a pebble beach (big smooth stones, like in a mountain river). You need watershoes but the water is very clear and very good for snorkeling. Clean, robust accommodation in an idyllic setting far from the madding crowd, yet right on the beach - the only true beach hotel on Samothraki.   The villas are very beautifull, inside - with all facilities of 4 stars and very cosy outside with nice terrace, barbeque place, playground for children , mr Zacharias, the owner, was very attentive and kind to us. We were sorry that we stayed only a night.
