  The staff, especially the proprietress, were really helpful friendly and thoughtful. They all spoke good English. We immediately felt at home - among friends. Our room was pleasant, airy and had a view of the sea from its balcony. The hotel has wisely refrained from filling all its ground with accommodation and provides a calm oasis in which to re... wat mensen zeggen » lax. We made good use of the tiny whitewashed traffic free streets (well apart from the occasional motorbike or mule train) that we accessed from the - Would recommend this hotel. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

  The family couldn't have been more accommodating. We found them very friendly too. A lovely place to stay. Basic but very clean and in a fairly central location. - beautiful rooms, balcony and the swimming pool were great! The family/ staff were welcoming and helpful.

  First of all I was really glad that the hotel organised for us pick-up from the port, it made our travel to Santorini much more easier.   Great and helpfull staff. - I like everything there. Gorge who's the owner of the hotel is excellent. He picked us up, gave us a lift which I wasn't sure I will get that service. Gorge gave us all the information to get around. The hotel itself is perfectly clean and near city center. We had great time there. I will recommend this hotel to everyone... wat mensen zeggen » . I even plan to go back there again next year. - For the price of the night's stay, I felt like I was staying at the ritz carlton. Everyday, the room was cleaned and my bed was turned down. Even the clothes that I had left everywhere were folded neatly on the floor. There were plenty of extra blankets and huge beach towels were even provided on top of our regular two towels each upon asking the front desk

  The hotel was excellent! Very helpful and friendly staff! It was located right in the middle of the island which made it easy to get around. It wasn't directly in any of the cities which was very nice. You will most likely want a car, but we talked to the front desk and reserved on for us. He did all the talking and the car was brought tight ... wat mensen zeggen » to us and we didn't even have to return it, just left it at the hotel. The owner gave us a ride to the airport! Stay here and you won't be disappoin - everything is beyond expectation It's a excellent stopover on the way from the port to Fira. Actually it's in the middle of the island. There is a bus stop in front of the Kalisperis Hotel.You spend one third price of the hotels in Fira or Oia, and you get quietness. Beside,there are 2 supermarkeks in 5 minutes walking distance. everything there is cheapper than other markets on this island.

The sea (Caldera beach) is right under the hotel, however, you should climb down from the rock to the seaside (about 15- min road).
