  We stay 2 adults + 2 children (9+12) for only one night in the way from Preveza to Poros during the end of august. Location: A quit place with great air ~30 min from the beach road (Xylokastro). The owners are a family and they are very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast: self-preparation by products received the night before. Quite s - Yiannis, the owner, was very friendly,helpful and ready to attend all our needs. Ask him anything you want and he will provide it. The breakfast was just amazing. We could not eat all that was available to us. Almost everything was home made. We were surprised when we were about to go, he gave us plenty of herbs freshly cut from his garden and a complementary bottle of fresh cow's milk. We would recommend it to anyone who is willing to experience Greek hospitality at its best:)

  The medieval aura that was surrounding the hotel was truly amazing. At the same time, the feel of luxury and hospitality was there throughout our stay, from the minor details in the room, up to the excellent service.   We stayed here in the offseason and were the only guests present. A very nice British couple live on the property and manage the place. They were informative, attentive, helpful and absolutely discreet. It was great to know they were there. Nigel even gave the bikes a tune up when he heard we were interested. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and the outdoor areas bo - I loved the way original things from this beautiful traditional stone farmhouse were displayed around the house - the old iron cooking-pot, the hay-rake and the original carved shutters. There are flowers everywhere, jasmine on the terrace and lots of butterflies - 27C at the end of October is hard to beat!

  A very good location. The beach is 5-7 minutes to get to the city centre, 5 minutes, 2 minutes to the bus station, 5 minutes to the supermarket. No noise, not the center of the old town.   The apartments have the best interior design I ever saw in Greece. They are big, we had a room with a queen bed, 2 bathrooms and a huge kitchen / dining rooms with 3 sofas which become quite big single beds. You can order breakfast from a list and they bring it to the apartment the morning after at the time you want, this is great. The place is very quiet and relax - This place is just wonderful! This was the second time that we stayed in the guesthouse and we liked it even better than the first time. Rooms are beautiful with tasteful interiors and very comfortable beds. Rooms well heated. Nice breakfast served in the room (and eaten on the sunny balcony). Extremely friendly and genuinly welcoming staff. Wonderful surroundings and perfect location for visiting Mystras and Sparta. Chromata, one of the best restaurants we have experienced in Greece is nearby.

  Nicole, our hostess, is a very nice and welcoming person. She promptly attended us in spite of our late arrival. The setting is fabulous, quiet, clean, modern and all in the middle of a wonderful garden. We enjoyed very much our stay and regretted it was only for one night ( before we took the ferry to Zakynthos) . It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.
