  The staff were great and friendly and the bar man is a great character who doubles as taxi driver/waiter. We had one of the cheaper rooms and only stayed one night due ferrys and flights but were very happy with it and a 5' bed. Pool and bar area i - The staff were awesome. So helpful and friendly. The pool/bar area were beautiful and were so relaxing! The breakfast was buffet style and was a little different each morning. It was great. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and that was great as well. The location isn't great if you want to be able to walk into town (definitely too far), but if you're looking for some peace and quiet it is perfect.   Casa del Mar was recommended to me by a good friend. I only needed to come to Mykonos for a very short trip; Casa seemed a nice, luxurious place to stay without having to spend a fortune. The truth is I got the best value for my money! Everything, from the first moment of arrival until the moment I left the island went amazingly well! The location... wat mensen zeggen » of the hotel is breathtaking, offering a great view and immediate access to a beautiful private beach while being considerably close to the town of M - Outside the city fuss this beautiful hidden place is excellent when you look for quiet and stunning environment. Car is essential as it would be anywhere in Mykonos for people who plan to see a bit more than a hotel pool. We were 2 couples and we wanted apartment with kitchen, to have breakfast on veranda. Casa del mar was perfect for that too! Pictures are the mirror of reality, we recommend definitely.
