  George and his staff is the best example for how all the boutique hotels should greet, host, entertain, and inform its guests. Also very professional from the very start...I was planning to send an email to the hotel one day before arrival to see if they can help with pickup from the port, but when i opend up my email, there was one email already... wat mensen zeggen » from the hotel asking me about my arrival time so they can arrange the pickup. Wow! All free of charge.. George is the local resident of the island ( - What didn't I like? The entire experience with Paradise View was excellent, from beginning to end. George (the manager) emailed us a day before to confirm our arrival time at the port, and then actually came in person to pick us up. He was so outgoing, super informative, and took the time to tell us all about the island on our drive to the hotel. The property itself was stunning and very clean.   We enjoyed our stay at Portobello Boutique Hotel tremendously. It is a classy hotel with a very contemporary feel, nestled a little away from the main town of Mykonos, barely 5 mins away from the quaint shops and little alleys. Although the room was a little tight, we appreciated how comfortable and cosy it was. The amenities provided were a boon.... wat mensen zeggen » ..I particularly loved the quality bath and body supplies provided. Towels were nice and fluffy too! Breakfast was a good spread, complete with a beau - Mykonos city with a delightful location to stay. The hotel was perched beautifully above the majority of the other accommodation options - and as a result we had the perfect postcard outlook when on the balcony or looking out of our window - white and blue buildings and the rising / setting sun on the sea.   The hotel was very impressive. Reception staff & transfer driver were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The pool was excellent and enjoyed by the whole family. The barman at the pool was very friendly and made terrific meals from local produce. The location of the hotel was perfect. Close to beaches & restaurants ... wat mensen zeggen » and the bus to Mykonos town stops right outside the hotel. Very convenient. There was a good variety of breakfast options and it was lovely to be havi - This is the second time we've stayed here. It's a great place to stay. Also, having a large swimming pool was great for the kids. The location is a 10 minute bus ride from the main town, but very close to superb beaches. Good if you like to be away from the noise. Family rooms were large and clean. Breakfast buffet needs some work. Will definitely come back.

  good location, friendly people, nice breakfast easy access to city with bus, restaurant next door too expensive - It was the ideal place to chill out. It was quiet during the day, but in the evening you had the option to stay at the restaurant, had few drinks and socialise.
