  - the stuff is very friendly, we get the impression that they do their job with passion - the localisation is great: 3min to the central bus station, 1min from the street with shops, 2min from the old town, 5min to the harbor, 15min to the beach - the breakfast was great, a wide choice and everything was very good - good value price/quality - very... wat mensen zeggen » clean and nice rooms - Staff was friendly and helped us with any questions we had. Close to the bus station so convenient as we went to the Samaria gorge the next morning. We left at 7 am and so the staff made sure to have the breakfast ready for us. Really close to old town and the harbour (5 minutes walk). Not a luxury hotel but clean.

Rooms are compact but have excellent soundproofing doors and windows to eliminate highway noise. The local restaurants were touristy and uninspiring, but we found some excellent restaurants in the old town, which is about 20 minutes' walk from the hotel. Rethymnon is an excellent location from which to explore other parts of Crete, as both Heraklion and Chania are wi... wat mensen zeggen » thin easy driving distance. - Aloe apartments is a very nice place to stay, close to the old town where there are lots of shops and tavernas. The manager of the hotel Lefteris is a wonderful person who will always be glad to help you and give you good advice. The beach is just across the road and the supermarket is only 200 metres away.

  This is a family run hotel and they are quite new having been here only 4 months. They are a very nice family. The hotel is very comfortable with a nice pool and short walk to the beach. Out of the hustle of the main town and port but just a 1.1 Euro bus or 10 Euro taxi. The breakfast was excellent.   Great hotel at the sea, rooms are clean and well equipped. Owners are very helpful and friendly. The best place I have ever visited - quiet, clean,hospitality, good service and beautiful landscapes and sunrises, facilities nearby, swimming pool nice and clean.
