  My stay at the Karystion Hotel was great. The staff was incredibly gentle and kind with us, the rooms clean and confortable, and even the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel is placed over a nice beach and very close to the village and the museum.   The location of the hotel was splendid. From our big balcony we had a marvellous view on the bay of Karystos. The street along the hotel has no big traffic and we could enjoy a very quiet night’s rest even with the windows full open. The rooms are very spacious and clean and gave us the feeling, when we entered, to be at home. Good to sit round the pool with a relaxing drink while the sun goes down. Hotel in easy reach of town centre/ seafront / town beach / harbour / restaurants We hope to return next year.

I had a wonderful time there. You must stay here if you want the beat value for your money! Great location on Eubeia near to very important greek archeological sites (Eretria) and just at 80 Km from Athens. Within 15 days we stayed here, we travelled around almost all Evia (except the northern end), three times were to Athens and even visited Meteora monasteries 320 km away.   This is the warmest welcome you'll get anywhere in Greece. The owners treat you more like a friend that a paying guest and are extremely helpful with advice and suggestions. They seem to have time to talk to you as well as give you breakfast which made my stay more interesting and enjoyable.   One of the best hotels during our two week vacation. Amazing place and location, large beautiful garden, quiet and peaceful. Room is spacious, comfy bed and nice bathroom. We were lucky to get the seaview room and enjoyed it very much. Hotel has a pool and also a way to get in the sea. The owner Mina is very nice and friendly.
