  The Central Hotel is very well situated in Athens in the Plaka, with a view of the Acropolis from our room, but also within a few short blocks of the main Athens shopping districts. It is about 2 blocks away from major public transportation (which is worth trying as the subways have become museums in their own right due to excavation finds in rec... wat mensen zeggen » ent years). Strolling through the plaka and vendor stalls, you will find yourself next to the ancient agora on one side and rows of tony restaurants - Location: The location is great, just a few blocks from the Syntagma Square and in walking distance to the main attractions. We took x95 from the airport but it stopped pretty far from the square and we walked about 1.5km with 4 luggages! I would recommend taking a metro or ask hotel to book a transfer: €40 one way. Staff: very friendly and helpful. We flew to Santorini after check-out and we could stored the luggages at the hotel for 2 days. Clean. It has free wifi and a roof top bar with a go

  We absolutely loved the hotel and we'll definitely be back. The room was big, clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was decent, and generally it all looked very nice. We had a nice balcony with a magnificent sea view. - a wonderful location with the most beautiful sea bay view.

  We had a very nice stay overnight with our family. The staff were very helpful and arranged for our ferry tickets to be delivered to our hotel. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a minimart as well. Rooms are spacious and I would definitely return. - Professional and helpful staff, excellent service and room, good location. Thanks again!

Amongts other they helped us out to retreive tickets to a sold out ferry and drowe us down themselves to make sure everything worked out well.   The pool was the best feature - it was huge and well supplied withloungers, umbrellas, toilets and bar. Although the accomodation was alittle more basic than your average studio (we still had good aircon,ensuite, fridge and balcony) it was clean and ideal for our needs. Atabout £15 pounds per person, per night it was a bargain. - Location/setting
