  De kamers waren prachtig, de mensen erg aardig het ontbijt perfect. - Location is good and the hotel staff is excellent - very helpful, friendly, accomodating, and courteous - very very professional indeed. Bill, Dina, George, and George are some of the best we have come across on this very extended trip of Europe. The room was extremely nice and comfortable, with a balcony, a jacuzzi bath and lots of space. Hotel staff were most friendly, and helpful with any kind of problem from tourist info to logistics. Fast, reasonably priced room service, great parking facilities and wireless internet. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in!

  This was our second stay in this hotel - the first one had been 15 years ago and we immediately loved both the hotel and its neighbourhood. When we decided to visit Athens again this year, there was not a doubt for a single moment that we would stay at the Exarchion Hotel again. The hotel has been renovated in the meantime, but its essence remained unchanged – the cosy, relaxed atmosphere which makes you feel very welcome - Very friendly staff. The owner of the hotel gave me a map and told which places worth visiting. Also he provided a lot of helpful information about the city. The rooms are relatively small but cozy. They were cleaned once a day. The towels were also changed on a daily basis. I was very pleased to find 2 teeth brushes and tooth paste in a bathroom. Air Condition system worked properly. Breakfast was good and substantial. Location is very convenient. It takes 20 min from the hotel to Acropolis

  The concierge spoke English well and was patient with me although the letsbookhotel.com website misrepresented the description for a "sun terrace", which is just a standard balcony and not a outdoor area with sun and views of the city. The owner was very friendly and helped me resolve my concerns and even directed me to a neighbouring 4 star hotel... wat mensen zeggen » called Hotel Stanley that had a pool and sun deck for pubic use so I stayed in their cheaper room and simply crossed the road to enjoy a swim and sun - Fabulous staff. Especially George. He can easily be at the Four Seasons! He, almost always went out of the way to make the stay effortless. Terrific levels of hygiene / cleanliness! I was impressed by how efficiently the room was made up by the house-keeper, in a matter of 2-3 minutes. This is probably one of the best locations for at this price range, however, the pictures (on letsbookhotel.com) showing the Akropolis from the hotel is bit of a stretch! It suited us location wise as we stayed one night at the beginning of our holiday before sailing from the marina opposite.   We spent only one night in this hotel, we found the reception staff very kind and helpful expecially for the possibility to check-in by night as it happens. The room was very big and very clean, the air conditioning was work very well (I've been there on September), also free wi-fi is available.   The Central Hotel is very well situated in Athens in the Plaka, with a view of the Acropolis from our room, but also within a few short blocks of the main Athens shopping districts. It is about 2 blocks away from major public transportation (which is worth trying as the subways have become museums in their own right due to excavation finds in rec... wat mensen zeggen » ent years). Strolling through the plaka and vendor stalls, you will find yourself next to the ancient agora on one side and rows of tony restaurants - Location: The location is great, just a few blocks from the Syntagma Square and in walking distance to the main attractions. We took x95 from the airport but it stopped pretty far from the square and we walked about 1.5km with 4 luggages! I would recommend taking a metro or ask hotel to book a transfer: €40 one way. Staff: very friendly and helpful. We flew to Santorini after check-out and we could stored the luggages at the hotel for 2 days. Clean. It has free wifi and a roof top bar with a go
