  we highly recommend grecian castle , there were not too much alternatives to stay in chios , grecian castle is comfortable and have large rooms, rooms have balcony or hotel rooms have silent common usage areas to lay over around. bar and restaurant prices are affordable. breakfast is good enough for summer. 10 minutes walking distance to chios cen... wat mensen zeggen » ter. you can return by walking at night. even you will need to rent a car or motorbike to discover the island. - The property is spacious, private and gorgeous located a short walk from the busy centre. The pool is fairly large adjacent to indoor and outdoor dinning & bar; great for hours of relaxing. We were lucky to get a 1 bedroom suite with a huge bathroom. Breakfast was amazing. We stayed extra days!

  Very close (30 seconds) to the Karfas beach which is huge and all sandy. There is a bus stop nearby the hotel where you can take a bus to Chios (25-30 minutes ride). There are places close to the hotel that you can rent cars, motorcycles, bikes. The hotel is quiet and comfortable.   Nice stuff, cool swimming pool, very comfortable rooms with full kitchen, 6 km from capital port. We rent a car (25 euro per day) and we visited almost entire Chios. Sightseeing high mountain part of island by car is like rollercoaster. Close to the sandy, beautiful, calm, long shallow beach - perfect for children. The hotel is located few meters from the beach, there is also a nice cafe near and one of the best restaurant in Chios across the street.   We had a lovely stay at Sea Breeze! We were warmly welcomed by the owner as the first guest of the season. She was very friendly and helpful. She really went out or her way to make our stay a pleasant one (E.G. killing a spider as we - two young woman - were too scared of it, arranging a scooter/taxi, repairing the swimming pool asap).   Words cannot express the wonderful stay that we had at the Spitakia Hotel. The journey to Avgonyma is worth it. The village is a great retreat and is very peaceful. The residents of the village are very friendly towards visitors. Add to all this, the service at Sptakia Hotel makes it a worthwhile stay. The room was comfortable, spotless and had one of the most amazing views from the - Avgonima is a village where ALL houses are old and built in a traditional way. It is abolutely quiet here. Georghios Missetzis itself served the breafast with fresh orange-juice and espresso-coffee.He is very helpful for hints about country, beaches, events etc.
