Our experience here was superb. The room was lovely and spacious, and felt like a home rather than a hotel. The local area was very pretty and the hosts were excellent. We could have gotten very fat eating Thomas' gourmet food - great taste and amazing presentation! Breakfast was delicious too.
We had backpacks but the walk from Altglassutten-Falkau station was not bad - only 10 mins. Highly recommend a stay here.

- Hotel staff was very accommodating and seriously adressed our concerns without any discussion. Great!

Everything was fantastic. They just finished a major reno so everything was new. Tons of space for 2 with a wellequipped kitchen inc dishwasher. The bonus surprise was receiving a passbook that got us into 90 local attractions free! We spent 1.5 hrs at the amazing swimming centre right across the road (http://www.badeparadies-schwarzwald.de/en/)

We arrive at mid-night because of the train issue, the staff came to the train station to pick us up, it was so quiet in the small town at that time, if they didn't come, we really don't know what to do!! This hotel will makes you feel warm like at home!!! :) -
