The owner gave us great directions to get around the floods.

Rooms quiet despite train tracks in rear (most hotels along this section of Rhine have trains passing close by). Large shower. No air conditioning although evenings were cool.   We stayed at this hotel 8 members. It was first time for my friends to stay this hotel and all of them were very happy to stay here. It was quite wonderful experience to stay old castle hotel like this. - A romantic place to stay with a great view of the Rhine Valley and the old castle to explore.

  First I must say that the lady owner is an exceptional person and entrepreneurs. I cut my finger at breakfast on our last day and she leaped into action cleaning the wound and bandaging it. I was so grateful for her help that I wanted to hug her but was not sure this would be culturally acceptable. Food in the morning was awesome and the coffee was the b - This Hotel is comfortable and very welcoming, the owners are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was cosy and relaxing. The evening menu was small but very good quality, the sandwich's we were presented with were very large and very tasty. A lovely place to stay for a few nights, it's quiet were it is situated provides easy access to nearby towns, a very enjoyable stay. The wine was good too.

  Staff was really friendly and the breakfast was great. Rooms were very clean, with great views from the Rhine and the Lorelei cliff.
