  The location was excellent - in the same square as Bach's St Thomas Church and the Bach museum. There are many good eating places very nearby. We were there to attend a Bach concert and enjoyed the Bach music wallpaper in the room therefore. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was entirely delightful. The main station was a - The hotel was in exactly the right spot for us - opposite the Thomaskirche, next door to the Bach Museum, the Gewandhaus 5 minutes away. St Nicholas Church down the road. We went to Leipzig to listen to Bach as part of a trip to hear music by Wagner in Bayreuth, Mozart in Salzburg, Haydn in Eisensdat et etc. This hotel is superb

  Beautiful hotel right in the centre of the city. The staff were very helpful (I rushed in from the car after a long drive and needed to use the WC before even checking in and they were very helpful!). The room was beautiful, modern, big and airy. It is directly across from the famous restaurant Auerbach's Keller where Goethe sets the scene in which Faust sells his soul to the devil. Great meal and wonderful paintings. The hotel is minutes from the famous Thomaskirche where Bach served as music director.
