  An excellent hotel/pension high up in the Black Forest. The rooms are simple but clean and well maintained. Rooms with a balcony have a five star view down into the valley. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. There is also an extensive evening menu offering good local dishes of enormous quantity-great after a long day's walk, of which there are ... wat mensen zeggen » many. Perfect location for walkers. Staff were friendly and helpful, little English is spoken but that did not affect us - Stunning peaceful location high in hills with view for miles across Rhine valley to France.   Bij boeking was er alleen nog een 'economy kamer in een bijgebouw' vrij, dus ik had niet al te hoge verwachtingen, maar de kamer bleek meer dan prima.   The hosts at the Landhaus Haus am Berg along with all their staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Although they spoke limited English and we spoke no German they did all they could to assist us with what we required. Peter is a fantastic chef and his restaurant alone is well worth a visit.
