  A very homely Guest House in the heart of Gay Berlin. Staff were friendly and aware of quiet times. Host/Owner was funny and genuinely inquisitive to improve your experience of Berlin. Property was immaculately presented throughout - every area was very clean. Guest rooms were spacious and had character. Common lounge/kitchen area was just like be... wat mensen zeggen » ing at home in open plan living area but having people traffic to mingle and socialise. For those wanting quality at an affordable price, then this is - An outstanding overall experience at Bananas: modern and comfortable rooms, multiple shared bathrooms so never a wait, high standards of cleanliness, shared kitchen with espresso machine, strong Wi-Fi provided throughout. Located next door to metro station and supermarket, cafes, restaurants within 5 minute walk. Prices were excellent and owners are very hospitable and welcoming.

We stayed (actually, we were upgraded) in "Tango" studio apartment - spacious (>30m2), clean, quiet, well designed and well equipped apartment, ideal for a couple...   This is a pension placing in the first floor of an art nouvau building. 6-7 spacious rooms with very high ceilings and my room has also had a very nice balcony to drink a cup of tea or wine.. The location is also a good place in the city; first of all quiet, close to shoping areas, good restauranst with modarate prices and cosy places, though ... wat mensen zeggen » the attendant guy told me that it is a gay district but this dont make any problem if you are not. They have bikes for renting with good prices (3- - Firstly, after we made our reservation, the owner of the b&b gave us a detailed instructions to get to the place which I find to be of most help. We rented the apartment and although the place was a bit cramped with the sofa bed laid out, it was a very comfortable stay. The apartment was very well equipped.   The owner, Armani and his wife took care of me as if I had been a member of their family. They were so kind and caring, it was incredible. I will go back next year for the Berlinale, without a doubt. Plus the fact that the hotel is 5 minutes from a major u-bahn station, 10 min. away from the Berlinale center, in a lively but safe neighborhood. - ... wat mensen zeggen » The hotel is very nice, located in the old building - keeps its atmosphere. The location is perfect, near to the Netto, KFC, McDonald's and to the best shopping area in Berlin.
