  Location was reasonably convenient for the railroad station, waterfront, and historic part of the city (we don't mind a bit of a walk). Beds were comfortable, and an extra bed was available for our teenage son at a reasonable cost. The room was small (by American standards), but adequate, and the bathroom was well-equipped and reasonably spacious.... wat mensen zeggen » Staff were pleasant and helpful, and spoke good English (like most young Germans we me met). - Very close to the old town, there is a big parking place right next to the hotel (you can take the elevator from the parking to the hotel). The staff was helpful. All in all, if I go next time to Konstanz I would stay at this Ibis.

  This hotel is only a short walk from the station and is easy to find. The rooms are fresh and very clean and the beds are really comfortable. Hairdryers, towels and toiletries are provided and there was a little bag of Haribo left on each bed for us. The kitchenette is perfectly adequate, with a two ring hob, worktop and fridge.   Staff was very helpful, room had a small sitting area plus a small balcony with table and 2 chairs, and all was very clean. The city of Konstanz provides free bus passes. To get them, show your passport and fill in a form with the hotel staff. Breakfast is available for an additional 8 euros per person. It had hot eggs and potatoes on the weekend,... wat mensen zeggen » but was cold dishes only on weekdays. - We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was fantastic. It's outside of the main city area, but you get a free bus pass for the 10 minute ride downtown if you stay more than 2 nights. It's nice to be in a quieter area and right on the lake, which you don't get in the city center. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well.
