Very nice breakfast and staff - they were very accomodating when our party ran into car trouble and got in very late to our hotel - beds were turned down and ready to be slept in! Location is good - very easy access to nice hiking and biking trails and the King's Castles - and we had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony window.

Great hotel in a beautiful location, overlooking the lake! The room was lovely - beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Kitchenette in the apartment which was a bonus, including dishwasher. You get a "Fussen Card" during your stay, which gives you free public transport and a discount on your castle tickets. The hotel is easy to get to, a 5-10 min drive or 15min bus ride from Fussen. Onze familie kamer in het hotel was ruim, mooi en goed ingericht. Het hotel is mooi gelegen met uitzicht op het slot Neu Schwanstein. Aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Prettige sauna - Mooie kamer en een uitstekend ontbijt. De sauna hebben we ook als zeer aangenaam ervaren.

de bediening van het personeel was zeer goed - Het persoonlijk contact met de eigenaar, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We mochten onze volgepakte auto met fiets achterop zelfs onder zijn carport parkeren. Het uitgebreide ontbijt met versgebakken broodjes was ook een aangename verrassing!

This is a "designer" hotel and every turn had surprises. Memory foam beds - so comfy. Chalet-looking balconies overlooking a castle on the hill. Great showers. Good breakfast. Fast internet. Our 2 rooms (one couple per room) each had room for a small family. Ours had a larger-than-usual queen bed, a single and a bunk built into the elaborate headboard. Our young children loved the apartment we stayed in because they had their own room with "supercool" beds (ours was pretty comfy too). The kitchen was well equipped, thug, as previousy mentioned, the "Clean Up or Else..." sign was a little off-putting. We were on the first floor, so the stairs were not a big issue, and the place was very quiet while we were there. Location was perfect and the lack of traffic around the hotel made the short walk to the parking lot a worthwhile trade-off.

We enjoyed very much our staying there at the Gastehous Kopf with charming hostesses Carmen and Martina. The quality-price ratio was brilliant! We had a well equipped kitchenett and we really enjoyed our cooking there. Super friendly staff. The receptionist gave us maps of the area and the
attractions as soon as we arrived and explained tickets and parking
around the castles. Nice breakfast option with great variety and fresh
eggs. The room was not just clean, it was hospital, hygienic level
clean! The bathroom and shower were a comfortable size. And the room
even had a fully equipped kitchenette that we chose to use when we were
tired of restaurant food.
