  No matter what is said you cannot beat the price. The location is excellent, only a 30 minute drive into central Paris to park next to the #1 line. Only 3km from a major bus hub. Down the street from a restaurant and a grocery store. The wifi was fast and never disconnected even after the hotel filled up. I would absolutely stay there again.   La Closerie des Trois Marottes was the surprise jewel of our trip to Paris! We wanted to stay in Melun while visiting Vaux le Vicomte and Chateau de Fontainbleau and were intrigued by the photos of the private gardens and unique rooms offered, as well as the very reasonable price, and decided to stay at a B&B instead of a big hotel. We were not expecting that our room would include a kitchen, spa bathroom (a shower that we did NOT want to get ou - This hotel is perfect! I effectively had my own beautifully decorated historic apartment with a huge comfortable bed in a bedroom looking over a beautiful quiet garden. The modern ensuite was spotless with a huge shower and excellent water pressure. The kitchen had a microwave and a kettle and lots of tea coffee and biscuits. Also lovely lounge, hall and toilet. All this for £90 would have been excellent value, but there was more. The proprietors are a very kind hospitable couple who bent over
