  Surroundings were just amazing and the saloon bar was so authentic you really felt like you had stepped back in time. Great value for the experience. Very comfortable. Great cat. - Beautiful location and a very nicely renovated castle. Friendly people. nice breakfast while sitting on the terrace looking over the garden.

  Schitterend hotel met een uitermate vriendelijke ontvangst. Heerlijke bedden in een zeer comfortabele kamer met uitzicht op de prachtige tuin. Fantastische keuken met verse streekproducten. Naar Franse normen genoten we van een prima ontbijt met huisgemaakte confituren, verschillende kazen en verse fruitsalade. Wij komen hier zeker terug! - Wij h... wat mensen zeggen » adden een fijne, comfortabele, maar wat kleine kamer. Wel heel praktisch ingericht, en zeer schoon. Personeel is zeer correct, maar wat afstandelijk. Avondeten is kwalitatief zeer goed, maar vrij kleine porties. Ontbijt zeer goed. Ligt aan een doorgaande weg, maar geen geluidsoverlast. Prachtige wandelomgeving.

  Very nice and clean facility in an idyllic location in an old mill setting. The views of the bubbling brook from the rooms are mesmerizing. The restaurant is a bit pricey, especially f for a very average breakfast, but the dinner was excellent.   Great hotel next to a babbling river. Very relaxing. The rooms are small but clean and have decent bed linen. The food is okay, no choice of menu but the setting is so lovely we didn't mind the lack of choice. Lots to do, the owner will take you fly fishing and there is also horse riding. Avallon has a market on Saturday morning which is worth a ... wat mensen zeggen » visit. I would recommend this hotel to those who like a rustic break, beautiful views and welcoming staff. - Location was super- a delightful change of pace from our week in Paris prior to arrival in Pontaubert. Our host was exceptional - he answered our questions and made wonderful recommendations for visits in the area. Dinners at the hotel were delicious, the ambiance of the dining area was warm and inviting- a truly delightful experience on all accounts!
