  It is a beautiful place. The welcome was warm and friendly. My room was so lovely - tastefully furnished and with those little touches that make a place special. Very nice breakfast included - when you are travelling as a lone female, that can be an uncomfortable time, but it wasn'T. Staff chatty. - What a fabulously quaint and interesting old pl... wat mensen zeggen » ace in a nice little village not far from the motorway. Lovely host who spoke excellent English and could not have been more helpful. Nice touch with free apple juice and a very cheap 'bar' in the lounge.

  We enjoyed our two day stay at Le Jardin de Muriel very much. Jean-Jacques and Muriel were excellent hosts and joined us in the living room for several interesting conversations. Our room, in fact the whole house, was very nicely appointed. It was obvious that much thought was put into every detail to make their guests comfortable and to feel a... wat mensen zeggen » t home. Adding to the enjoyment was the beautiful garden at the front of the house and the excellent breakfast each morning. Hope to return some day. - Muriel and Jean Jacques were excellent hosts: they were so kind and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely with beautiful views over the garden. The breakfast was superb with home made preserves. Excellent evening dining was just a short walk away. We will definitely stay here again. I will be recommending Le Jardin de Muriel to all my friends who are visiting France.

  A warm welcome from Jean-Marie, the proprieter set the scene for a pleasant stay. Simple room with basic facilities (take your own bathroom consumables) but very clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. It does have free Wi-Fi which is a bonus. Lovely continental breakfast provided and served by Jean-Marie with companionable conversation (hi... wat mensen zeggen » s English is very good) to go with it. The B&B is well sited within easy walking distance of the town and free parking is available on the quiet o - The house is delightful and M. Blondel the owner was very welcoming and told us how he had bought it and done lots of work with more planned into the future. It sounds like he has more or less saved this wonderful house from ruin. The room we stayed in was lovely with 2 comfortable armchairs and comfortable beds. It is a unique house and a joy to stay there. We had lovely apple juice with our breakfast which sadly is not available to buy as we would have liked to have some to bring home.
