  Large room with rustic feel inside what felt like a castle. It was two twin beds pushed together to make a king but that didn't bother us since the beds were pretty comfortable. It was a good location (if you have a car) to discover the World War ii sites otherwise there is nothing in that town itself. The owner was very welcoming. If stay there again and reco - Beautiful B&B in the Norman countryside. The rooms were spacious, free wi-fi, free parking, and a huge breakfast. Good location for touring D-Day sites. Located in the British sector. A 15-20 minute drive to Bayeux; approx 40 minutes to Omaha and Utah Beach. There are no restaurants in the village of Meuvaines; however, there is a wonderful restaurant about 1 km away in the town of Crepon and a few restaurants about 2-3 km away in Asnelles. The countryside is absolutely stunning!

  I had high expectations for this place and it exceeded them. Incredibly beautiful - both the chateau inside and out, the surrounding gardens, and the view. Christine is a warm and very accommodating host. It's wonderfully secluded but still easy access to Mont St. Michel and other great places to visit in Normandy (with a car). I highly recommend ... wat mensen zeggen » eating dinner at the chateau. Christine cooks and you join other guests (and it's a very good price for a 5-course meal with champagne and wine). I'm - We have spent a wonderful time at the Chateau La Rametiere. The staff is very friendly and the dog Noby is just adorable. The place, including the rooms, is spacious, comfortable and beatifully decorated. The place is calm and relaxing and easily reacheable if you are by car. We certainly recommend this lovely Chateau on the way to Mont Saint Michel.

  Charming hosts were very helpful. We had booked a double room,but got upgraded to a studio at no extra charge. The latter was quite spacious and quiet with a firm but comfortable bed, large bathroom with good shower and tea/coffee making facilities.All within a 2 minute walk to town. Thanks Amanda and Craig. - Great hosts and a perfect location next to town. Honfleur is a wonderful place - really romantic and the apartment house was located in a wonderful narrow street of half-timber houses, shops and cafes. We would definitely recommend the Manoir - it was a pleasure. - The proprietor is wonderful, full of life and born to teach.
