  Great Historic hotel since 1914! Its in the Downtown central Chamonix shopping street! Great mountain view to the French Alps from the 4th floor. Old style large rooms. - The staff were extremely friendly and spoke a little English which helped. Breakfast was basic but served the purpose and everything that was there was good quality.

  The hotel owner was awesome. He took care of our every need, including plugging all my electronics into his personal computer to charge them for me (my us charger had broken). Great breakfast. Our booked family room was not available but he made 2 rooms available to us. Being slightly away from the busy and noisy Chamonix was also a plus. - A warm welcome by a young staff willing to help you.
