  Amazing place to stay. Located on the river bank. Greeted on arrival by the owner which the chateau has been in his family for a very long time if not original owners. The chateau is very big with many living rooms filled with antiques family photo's and the Dining room were breakfast is served the wall are painted with original murals from hundre... wat mensen zeggen » ds of years ago. Our room was very comfortable just beautiful. The garden surrounding the chateau are very picturesque. The staff are very lovely and - The location is ideal for visiting the Chateau at Chambord. This is a really unique experience and an opportunity to stay in a Chateau. The rooms are of an older period but quite charming. The hosts Patrick and his wife Ileana were both friendly and helpful with local information. The breakfast in a period dining room with painted panels was special.
