  I liked the whole atmosphere of the hotel, both inside and out, and its very convenient location en centre ville. The bedroom was spacious and had everything I wanted - except, perhaps a tiny fridge for keeping cold drinks. The staff were very helpful and efficient. I cannot comment on meals generally, as I only had breakfast there. I had all othe... wat mensen zeggen » r meals at the home of French friends. - The hotel is in a perfect location for walking around the city. The rooms are spacious,clean and beautifully decorated. The gardens are lovely and being able to have dinner on the terrace was divine. The staff were excellent and would highly recommend if you are staying in Laval

  The whole ambience. It was like being a family member. We stayed in the manoir itself in a room up a stone spiral staircase. The bathroom was small and, as described elsewhere, like a plastic pod, but it served its purpose and we don't spend much time in the bathroom! I do wonder at some of the negative comments left by people. Perhaps they need t... wat mensen zeggen » o chill out and get a life. The building and grounds were magical for anyone with a sense and appreciation of history. The food was prepared by Natali - An excellent place to stay - definitely would recommend it! Really friendly staff, delicious home-cooked meal in the evening followed by another delicious breakfast the following day! A lovely setting within an easy 5 minute drive into the centre of the medieval town of Laval.
