  The hotel is great because it is friendly and clean and our room had a great view of the roof tops. La Marais is a very interesting and atmospheric location. It is easy to access the Seine and other places of interest. We especially enjoyed the Jewish quarter and the falafels.   I could not fault this hotel. It was great value for Paris. It's not luxury, but it had everything I needed. The water was always hot. The room was well heated. Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent location - 5 minute walk to the Metro and surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops.   This was a wonderful hotel, convenient location, for our family and our recent visit to Paris. It is a small hotel and unassuming. It is not for people looking for a luxurious facility, but it was clean and the room was rather large (see below) and we enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The staff was polite, welcoming, helpful and responsiv... wat mensen zeggen » e to any requests we had. We arrived early, before the designated check in time. While dropping off our luggage and making plans for our day, our room - I loved this little hotel! It is in a fantastic convenient location. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was extremely accommodating. It will be my hotel of choice next time I'm in Paris (in fact, I almost hesitate to give it such a good review in fear that I will find it booked when I'm next looking to go!). Very much looking forward to returning. Thank you!

  Uitstekende centrale ligging uiterst vriendeljken behulpzaam personeel ,zeer schone keurige kamers - Eindelijk een douche die het ook echt goed doet. Gewoon steeds voldoende warm water, ook als het toilet wordt gebruikt. Het ontbijt was goed, jammer dat er geen vers fruit beschikbaar was.

  The location was brilliant for Eurostar travellers with a short 15 min walk from gare du nord. The hotel had a lift - most welcome to get bags up to the room. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and spoke good English. We had a room for 4 with an ensuite, as I was travelling alone with 3 young children we couldn't be split into 2 rooms, ... wat mensen zeggen » and I didn't want to share a bathroom down the corridor ( common in Parisian hotels) so to find this in a great central location was fantastic. We wal - It was very straightforward and they were accommodating, letting us check in after midnight, and leave our bags at the hotel after checkout, they even advised us on the best way to get to the airport.

  I stayed 12 nights with my son and grandson. Although we were 3 males we thought the hotel suited our requirements exactly. It was clean, convenient to "life", the metro, walking and some nice restaurants. Mr Didier and Isabelle together with Lenka at the front desk and the other staff made us very welcome and helped us when we needed it. I would... wat mensen zeggen » highly recommend Hotel Daval an stay there again. - We stayed in a very good room (small but very nice). We were very well attended, even when we realize that the announcement was booking with items that do not exist in the hotel. For example, with bath. They justified that was incorrect information and we provided one of the breakfasts as courtesy. I recommend it strongly.

  Very welcoming and willing to accommodate a group of 14 high school students and two teachers. We arrived late morning and we were able to leave our cases in our rooms even though they had not been completely prepared at that time. The beds were very comfortable with crisp white linens. We really appreciated having someone on duty all night at ... wat mensen zeggen » the front desk. - right next to the metro station. in the middle of a busy area. lots of bars and restaurants nearby. the room was fine. the staff was helpful. we reached the hotel a few hours before out check in time but the staff accommodated us.
