With most hotels, four guests required booking two rooms, but Hotel Des Comedies has a great Family Duplex room with a super comfortable Queen bed, and a loft with a double and a twin. The front desk was very helpful. Especially a lady named Mili. The front desk in general guided us about train stations, restaurants and everything else that we needed. The location is spot on with the metro station right next door. We had a change of plan and extended the trip by two more days but they were sold out.   The staff is very nice. My room has been upgraded and it is on the eighth floor. The room is very very comfortable and nice. THere is a very good view and you can enjoy the view of paris. Although the lift is broken down, the staff has arranged someone to help me carry the luggage upto my room. Besides, the staff has explained to us that there is ... wat mensen zeggen » a construction in the hotel. All the rooms will be new and cleaned in this summer time. I think the lift has been fixed. So I think there will not be - The location is perfect. If you are young, you can walk everywhere. As a back up, two metro stations, Bonne Nouvelle and Strasbourg-Saint Denis are only steps away. I was worried about the traffic noise at night, but on the third floor it was no problem.

I booked single room and I ve got a huge room with 3 single beds, big flat tv, spacious bathroom and a separate toilet. Nice light in the room. Everything u need.   My wife and i visited paris and north of France for two weeks, and we stayed in three hotels during our visit to France.... hotel du leman was really the best amongst all...the staff is so friendly and was very helpful and kind...check in and check out is so smooth.. .the hotel is very clean and the bed is very comfortable as well as the pillow...... wat mensen zeggen » the hotel location is just great...it is close from all the opera surrounding with minutes of walk and it is also so close from metro station... they - Extremely friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are small but spotlessly clean and well kept. Location is fantastic, a short ten minute stroll up to Montmartre and only 15 mins in the other direction to the Lourve and Seine. I would highly recommend a stay here, especially if location, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere are top of your agenda.
