  Our stay was like a dream come true. We loved the old paintings, spiral stairs, velvet, exposed beams and historical ambiance. The location is amazing--just steps away from Centre Pompidou. Norte Dame is also very near and makes a great nighttime stroll. We didn't opt for breakfast, but Julian patisserie was right out front and had the best pastry... wat mensen zeggen » , baguettes, and coffee we had on our whole trip. Also, the staff was incredibly charming, funny and good-natured. - intriguing, almospheric interior. great location, easy to get to to tourist destinations, but close to the marais for socialising. I've stayed here 3 times (twice before it had a refurbishment), and I usually try a new hotel each time I visit Paris, but enjoy staying here. had a room at the front this time with a very Parisian view, and the sound of church bells in the morning.

  Perfect, central location for exploring Paris. Very nice room with amenities like tea maker, safe, hair dryer, mini-bar. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, high ceiling and big, surprisingly sound-proof window. Staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again. - We loved the whole feel of the hotel. Finally I cant say enough about the staff, all fluent in English all so helpful with recommendations and information. Great stay.

  The location of this hotel is perfect, in the centre of Paris yet in the peace and quiet of L'Isle de Louis. We booked a double room but were upgraded to a triple room at the top of the building. We had a huge comfortable bed and a bed settee. The room had a little balcony and a large bathroom with a bath! Very comfortable and somewhat elegant. Superior room definitely worth the extra euros as standard rooms are somewhat tight. I have stayed at each hotel on Ile St. Louis, and definitely prefer this.

  Warm inviting hotel. Very kind staff. Like walking into your grandmother's house. You felt welcome and taken care of.   Every member of staff was friendly and helpful in providing information about the surrounding neighborhood and shops. They were more than happy to take care of our luggage for early check-in while our room was being made up. Room was small but very comfortable.   What a wonderful hotel! I go to Paris a couple of times a year, and have tried out different hotels, but now I think I will stay here every time. The superbly restored old building with its rough old beams, the warm welcome, the calm and quiet in the heart of busy Paris, and the beautiful room with a lovely bed and quality bed linen - everything w... wat mensen zeggen » as just perfect. Not to mention the location, close to everything, 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro, 10 minutes to the Notre Dame, and loads of gre - The hotel's location is perfect. Situated in one of the prettiest and most central areas in Paris, but incredibly private and quiet. The design and interior is a perfect mix of traditional (exposed stone & timber) and contemporary. Very airy, light and spacious. The room had the biggest and most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Staff were very friendly, helpful and considerate. 5 stars all round.

  The hotel was wonderful! Very nice room - much larger than we expected. Excellent bathroom - shower and a nice soaking tub for long days walking in Paris. Super comfy bed and very quiet room (I am a very light sleeper and never heard a sound!). But the best part of the hotel was Vincent (sp?) - he was amazing with great suggestions and even was ab... wat mensen zeggen » le to help us get tickets to the eiffel tower when it was supposedly sold out!! We would most definitely stay there again the next time we are in Pari - Excellent boutique hotel in the most central Paris area! The staff was more than helpfull and kind and they all could speak english, which is a rare thing in France. The hotel was also surprisingly very clean, another rare thing in Paris specifically. The location has also been extremely convenient, everything was on walking distance and we didn't had to get any other transport mean. We will definately choose this hotel again if returning to Paris.
