  We stayed at this hotel on our return journey from Southern France. It was easy to find and well situated in a small town, which was very appealing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was in an annexe through the courtyard, and was situated right at the end of the building, and was extremely quiet. The room was of good size a... wat mensen zeggen » nd well appointed and had comfortable beds with memory foam mattresses. We ate in the restaurant, and found the food to be of exceptional quality and - The proprietor and his wife were welcoming and friendly. The room provided all that we needed. We had our elderly dog with us and she was made welcome. The evening meal options were good and the meal itself was good. If we need a stopover hotel again between SW France and the UK, then we will definitely consider this hotel.

  The house and the grounds were absolutely wonderful. The owner, who I believe had renovated the whole place has such a fine eye for detail that the quality of the furnishings and fittings are outstanding. It is the garden, however, that takes the breath away. We had a picnic on our night's stay. (There is a supermarket up the road) Idillic! A real hidden gem, beautifully restored by someone with a sharp eye for finish and design. The breakfast was just lovely. Quaint town with nearby park, market and cycle route.
