  The hotel is near Calais and there is ample free parking and is friendly. The village is near the lovely village of Guines, there is a market in the center. The hotel is next to a campsite and you can use the facilities, swimming pool, bar which serves a good standard of bar food which is not expensive. A nice place to relax. The main restaurant is good value for money if you have the fixed price. - Good value for money - our room was clean and well furnished. The lino on the floor was clean and functional but detracted from what could have been a more luxurious feel to match the nice furnishings. Aside from the great location close to Calais, the restaurant next door was the reason for our visit having stayed at the adjoining campsite many years ago and remembering the excellent quality. It did not disappoint this time and can be recommended.

  Very friendly, helpful owner who was pleasant and obliging. Location o fsome twenty minutes to the tunnel is good and it is five minutes walk from a good restaurent. Great attention to detail in the bedroom and breakdast was good. Privat e parking was provided. - After travelling from the south of France, we had booked to stay at la forge.
