If there is something extra that you want, you only need to ask for it and it is provided willingly and graciously. But but it is also a good place to stay on its own accord as there is so much around - particularly - What a lovely experience - never used a gite before. Nothing was too much trouble for hostess Sarah and we learned a lot about the french way of life from her over breakfast. The 2 rooms were in a 2012 quality converted barn and came with wifi, microwave, fridge. Tea/coffee making facilities and ingredients and milk.   Probably the nicest place we've stayed at for ages. The accommodation is like a little annex to the main house complete with a bathroom and separate toilet all beautifully decorated. The owners are wonderful, so warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom has French doors opening out onto a patio in the garden. We will certainly make a point of visiting again! - Our hosts were an extremely friendly and outgoing couple. Their house is charming and the back garden is marvelous with a lovely terrace to sit out on and relax. A knowledge of some French would be useful but they do speak a little English. The breakfast was excellent. Be sure to try all the homemade jams and cupcakes! One of the best places we stayed.

When we arrived the room initially allocated did not have an effective shower over bath in view of the sloping ceiling, but we were moved to another room without fuss, incorporating a dedicated shower unit which was fine. The high standards experienced on our first visit were maintained, excellent room/bathroom facilities, very clean, and generous breakfast. Friendly, helpful owner. This chambre d'hote represents excellent value for money.
