The excitement of staying in an authentic bastide village constructed as
a defensive unit onto itself!. Our room was located on the top floor of
the building (whose history dated back 800 years) and was approached by
a large stone circular stairway original to the building which, being
seniors, would have been difficult had not our host kindly carried up
the heavy luggage. Our large room could have accommodated four as it had
2 extra beds. Everything was very clean, with spotless parquet wood

We received a very warm welcome when we arrived. We were given a map of Cordes Sur Ciel in English on arrival and a tourist map of the area. The restaurant next door was closed on the Sunday night but the hotel rang a nearby pizzeria to see if it was open. We ate in the restaurant next door on the first night and that was super. -

... wat mensen zeggen » s great, very close to Cordes Sur Ciel (5 mns car drive). We arrived late and they didn't make any trouble even though this is a family run hotel and we woke them up. We didn't have a lot of time to see the hotel itself but the room was very good and comfortable.

Staying in a medieval town in a medieval tower room with two viewpoints from the room was lovely. Situation in the centre and right at the top of the hill opposite place de la halle, you couldn't get more central in Cordes sur ciel.
