  We loved everything about Manoir d'Hautegente. The decor, the location the beautiful grounds, and the amazing dinner served each night. We were scheduled to stay at another hotel and chose to spend another night here. Absolutely perfect!   The staff at hotel de l"Abbaye were so friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was amazing and very reasonably priced for such a gourmet meal! The village was superb, very beautiful, and the 900 year old church very peaceful. - The staff are very friendly, and you feel part of the family.   Rustig. Vriendelijke eigenaren. Comfortabele kamer. - The hotel was easy to find and the owner Alain came outside to greet us. There is free parking. The house is stunning. It is located in a beautiful French countryside setting very close to Lasco caves, Perigord and close to some other gorgeous little towns. The closest city is Montignac which ... wat mensen zeggen » is not only charming but also has some really good restaurants. It is about 5 min away from the B&B. We had 2 connecting rooms as we had 2 little children with us and both rooms were very large, comfor - The hotel is located just a few miles away from the town of Montignac, so it's quite easy to reach Lascaux from there as well even for an early morning visit. The hosts are very welcoming and they will quicly make you feel at home at Larnaudie. Finding Larnaudie may not be exactly easy as the cottage is relatively isolated (to reach it we had to drive for about a mile over a rather narrow and somewhat winding road), but this relative isolation immediately becomes an asset, if you like a bit of
