  Owner ( family owned since 1600s) was great host, took pre-dinner drinks witrh us and gave a potted histiry of Manoir. Went foe walk round grounds and their old dog came too. Needs all thge support they can get to keep the place riunning. It is a fascinating place tucked away in the countryside. The owners are friendly and helpful, recommending good places to eat and shop (even recipes for bread).

The food is not bad and the staff are very helpfull. - We stayed in this hotel at either end of our holiday.   Corrine and Steve were great hosts and attended to our needs well. The pool area was lovely and the accommodation was very comfortable and relaxing. We could even watch the Ashes test match in the bar as Steve had Sky Sports!
