  Great Historic hotel since 1914! Its in the Downtown central Chamonix shopping street! Great mountain view to the French Alps from the 4th floor. Old style large rooms. - The staff were extremely friendly and spoke a little English which helped. Breakfast was basic but served the purpose and everything that was there was good quality.

  Great location with very nice view of mountains on both sides of the house. Resident manager Dmitri was very friendly and helpful. Our booked family room was not available but he made 2 rooms available to us. Being slightly away from the busy and noisy Chamonix was also a plus. - A warm welcome by a young staff willing to help you. The wine list is modest but good.

  The staff is a fantastic bunch of friendly and energetic young people. We had a problem with food allergy and they went out of their way to help us. The hotel is quiet but this might be different in busier times of the year (we stayed there between the ski season and summer). Conveniently located out of Chamonix - car owners will appreciate that,... wat mensen zeggen » those without it to get to the centre will have to rely on public transport, on which I have no experience. The food was good. A new chef had arrived - We booked a room for just 1 night and called in a day before to inform them that we will arrive late. The lady spoke English on phone and found that everyone speaks English at the hotel too. The staf was extremely helpful. They had given us their best room (18), but since we had lot of luggage, we asked for a room at lower level. They quickly changed the room (3), which was also a very good room. We asked for directions and attractions in the morning, and again the staff was extremely helpful.

  The wonderful staff member who checked us in - the friendliest we encountered anywhere in our three week trip. We upgraded our room to a mountain view, and were rewarded with a view of the mount Blanc on our second morning. Room was small but comfortable. Location was outstanding, including the on-site parking. - The Hotel is very well-located... wat mensen zeggen » , just a few minutes walk from the centre of Chamonix, and car parking was available on-site. Our room was small, but adequate, with views to the mountains. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfasts were pleasant. There is lift access to the upper floors.
