We had a fabulous experience and are looking forward to a return visit. The area is perfect for hikers of varying abilities, and the owner/guide of Casa Vanella an expert resource. Incredibly clean and well-organized room, with good reading lights and lots of hot water in the sink and shower. Gorgeous views, quiet village, welcoming people. W

Beautiful location, fantastic views. Excellent breakfast. There is Table d'hôte in the evenings, €27.50, cheapest wine is €24, and it's request, certainly, but they do it every night. We didn't have it, but it smelt excellent.
