  A wonderful stylish hotel, peaceful and beautifully French, which is why we chose it. Lovely Decor, comfortable beds and an enormous sitting room shared with friends. Ideally placed for exploring Carcassonne Cite, the canal du Midi and shopping in the town centre. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh croissant and baguette, butter, jams, cereals, fresh fruit salad - The location was excellent for visiting the medieval city. It is a beautiful house which has been carefully and tastefully restored. The owner (Bernard) was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended several good restaurants for us as well as giving us directions. The breakfast was very good and our apartment was superb with French windows leading onto the well maintained garden. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Although this accommodation is on a busy road, we found that we were unaware

  Location to fortress, and right next to several wonderful restaurants with reasonable costs. Excellent breakfast with several choices offered. Coffee was much better than usual French coffee. View from the windows unto part of the fortress was a treat at night and in the morning. Walking distance to bridges for view of entire fortress, lit up at n... wat mensen zeggen » ight. Shampoo, soap, hair dryer were supplied and the room was spotless. Madame was very helpful with touring ideas and restaurants. An excellent valu - Nice little B&B really close to the old city of Carcassonne and about a 10 minute walk over the bridge into the new town. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Room was clean, well decorated and larger than expected. Owners very friendly too.

  Great guest house run by the fabulous Simone, Who spared no effort in making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay even waking early to prepare breakfast for us before our early train even though breakfast was not officially served until later. Well located just outside la cite with only a 5 minute walk to reach the old city. Beds were c... wat mensen zeggen » omfortable and bathrooms were impeccably clean. We Will definitely return to this guest house. - This place is a box of delights wrapped in a plain paper wrapper. Driving down the street its easy to miss the sign over the door but when you ring the bell the double carriage doors open to reveal a real gem of period property with Simone, the smiling owner, pointing us to our secure parking spot. The rooms are individually styled to suit the centuries old building, but with comfortable beds, some of them four poster.

  We loved the gardens and swimming pool area. Also the owners were so friendly and helpful! they learned we were leaving early the next morning before breakfast was due to be served, instantly offered to make us a tray so that we would have something in the morning and had a taxi booked for us as well! so nice and friendly! really helpful too with ... wat mensen zeggen » local information, they also give us a map and marked places etc to see. - La Villa B&B was wonderful. Madame Flo and Jean-Michel were very helpful and friendly. Patient with my attempt at the French language, but conversed well with my partner who's French is far better than mine. We stayed in two different room and both were spotlessly clean and tidy, with a lot of thought going in to the decor and design. fabulous breakfasts!

  Quiet location, hospitable hostess, roomy accomodation , lovely breakfasts. - The Lady Proprietor was excellent - however the place is a B&B not a hotel and it is a large old Farmhouse, so accommodation was basic.
