  Single room was small but comfortable, with shower and basin. Toilet was just down the hall. A small lift meant you didn't have to negotiate the stairs with bags. Close to the train station, it allowed me easy access for a late night arrival. About only a 15 minute walk to the historic Carcassonne walled city. Owners did not speak much English but... wat mensen zeggen » were friendly and very helpful. Close to shops and eateries. Cheap Wi-Fi access. Enjoyed my stay there. - This was a very typically French hotel which due to location, welcome and comfort was a joy to stay in. From arrival to departure the Proprietor was a joy and his attempts at encouraging guests to practice their French as he practiced his English was just brilliant. We travel regularly between France and Scotland,don't know when we are due next to travel from Carcassonne to Glasgow but would definitely stay here again. Merci Monsieur Proprietor

  The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were nice, clean and looked new. The hotel is a bit outside the city, but excellent location if you have a car as it is next to a large shopping center and a short drive to the historic Carcassonne. The only downside to the hotel is that the signs to get there is a bit small. We totally overlooked - It was more like a U.S. motel than any of the 20+ hotels where we have stayed in Spain and France. Because we were traveling by car, this was wonderful! It was an easy drive from the hotel to La Cité and the castle. If you are not driving to Cascassonne, this is not where you want to stay. The hotel is new and spacious.

Room was small but comfortable and very clean with good shower and facilties. Shampoo, soap, hair dryer were supplied and the room was spotless. Madame was very helpful with touring ideas and restaurants. An excellent valu - Nice little B&B really close to the old city of Carcassonne and about a 10 minute walk over the bridge into the new town. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Room was clean, well decorated and larger than expected. Owners very friendly too.

Experience was excellent! - Location, helpful staff, fantstic air conditioning in my room ( but not all rooms have this available apparently). 1 block away at the park is a bus for 1 euroor the petite train for 3 euros to take one to the castle. Bnp ( Bank of america bank about 3 or 4 blocks away). The hotel is 1 block from the train station right across the canal and my room was nicely quiet.

  The evening receptionist spoke some English and was very helpful. The beds were clean and comfortable and the shower worked well - Excellent quality/price ratio. Good breakfast
