  It was clean, comfortable and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It is in the heart of this beautiful city and the beach is so close by. I would really recommend this hotel to a friend. - Very friendly staff and a lovely room. Would recommend to anyone passing through Biarritz.

  This is a lovely hotel set about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Biarritz. It is tastefully decorated in a contemporary but comfortable style and is beautifully clean and tidy throughout. We opted for a “Prestige” room which was a good size, nicely laid out, had a smart bathroom and benefited from a good sized terrace, which was perfect for an ... wat mensen zeggen » early evening “apero”! All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, speak good English and gave us helpful advice about Biarritz and the surround - Comfortable bed, fridge in room, the best shower I've ever had in a hotel. The hotel is located just outside of the center of the city so you can park on the street for free but still walk into town in 5-10 minutes.

  Really nice people ran the hotel - helpful and friendly. The cleanest hotel I have ever been to - great job! Very good insulation - we did not hear any noises from other guests. Lovely quiet area and a two minute walk to the surf beach where you can swim, although there are many steps to go down and back up.   Lovely comfy bed. The hotel was small but in a great location in town, quiet but central. Nice courtyard but we didn't use it. Took breakfast in local cafes instead. - Very friendly staff, who could not do enough to assist where required; far beyond the call of duty! Excellent location for the city and also for the sea side.

Despite negative comments from other travellers we found the breakfast was not exactly cheap but reflective of prices in Biarritz. The breakfast was goo in our opinion.   The owners of Le Gamaritz were extremely friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations for restaurants and places to go. The accommodation was comfortable. We stayed in a family room which had a double bed and 2 pull out beds which were actually really comfortable. The hotel is really near the shops, the market and one of the smaller be... wat mensen zeggen » aches but most places are only a short walk away. We didn't get the breakfast as we preferred to wander round to coffee shops. Overall we loved the ho - We love the location by the small beach and the convenience to bars and restaurants. The rooms are tiny but always super clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is now available onsite but we venture out to the local cafe instead.
