  The absolute separation from the urban hustle and bustle. Singing birds woke us up in the morning and in the evening we enjoyed the smell of flowers and trees. Our daughter loved the dog of young owner. Someone can not like a certain untidy building, but it has its own charm. It was as if time stood still 30 years ago. Special thanks for the local wine that was presented to us b - The chateau has a unique character in spite of needing renovation ( a massive job) and is set in a small village which is peaceful. The welcome from Philippe and his family ( and dogs);the rooms are spacious and look out onto the grounds;the breakfast was all home made or local produce; possibility of meeting the family; getting advice where to eat and visit in Burgandy
