  Near Barbizon which is a lovely little town with good restaurants. When shops were closed and we asked for a supermarket to buy a bottle of wine, the landlord offered us a nice bottle from his cellar. Apparently without charge. This is real service! Outside sitting is great. - Great b and b in a lovely village. Photos hardly do it justice and nic... wat mensen zeggen » e young couple own and manage it. He speaks English and will give you good advice on where to eat etc.

  The whole experience - our third stay in as many years, and as pleasurable as our earlier ones. It remains our first choice. The staff are particularly praiseworthy for their helpfulness and pleasant, good humoured manner. - Modern and clean, well located, helpful staff. - The large comfortable bed, the large bathroom.

  Perfectly situated in the historic village of Barbizon. Staff were amiable, garden very pleasant to sit in to eat. WiFi. Close to significant places associated with the Barbizon school of painters, their ateliers, the Barbizon School museum, and beside the forst of Fontainebleau, five minutes walk away. - Historic buildings in pleasant setting in... wat mensen zeggen » a beautiful historic town. Lots of trees and flowers just outside the forest of Fontainbleau. Looks like it would be wonderful in warmer weather on the terrace. Food was good. Public areas very nice.
