My husband and I have just returned from spending ten nights at Le Concorde and were extremely happy there. The hotel is within easy walking distance of both the railway station and the town centre. The staff are friendly and helpful, our second floor room was large enough to be comfortable and had a balcony with a view over the low rooftops to the mountains beyond where we would sit in the late afternoon to recover from a day's sightseeing before going out into the town for dinner. The hotel is situated very close to the centre of Aix-en-Provence. The
staff was very helpful and nice. I asked for some hot water to make
myself a tea on a couple of occasions and my request wasn't
refused, which is often the case in the hotels with only two stars.
There was also no problem with having our luggage stored once we
checked out in the morning. The room had a little terrace with a lovely
view. I wouldn't recommend taking a cheaper room with the view onto
the road...
Friendly, helpful staff. Advised on an amazing restaurant off the
tourist streets. Booked a taxi for us to the tgv bus stop. Lovely quiet
bedroom on the courtyard side, with patio areas for eating; when it was
raining the hotel staff let you eat your picnic in the hotel dining room
or lent you cutlery. Sun loungers on a sun terrace. As with other
reviews we cannot understand why it is only 2 stars or has bad reviews.
It helped to make our stay in Aix a pleasure.
The location is very good. It's right on the edge of the "old town" area. The staff was fantastic. The room "types" are all over the spectrum of decor.
From fancy to simple. Mine was very basic with my private,not shared bathroom across the hall. Not an issue for me. WiFi worked perfectly. The price was excellent.
Very nice hotel with a friendly staff. Our room had so beautiful view
to mountain. Hotel decoration in the style of Provence. Hotel has its
own Parking, what is important for travel by car to Provence. Very

The location was great. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom w/tub and shower.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a secure parking lot under the hotel. Only about a 10-12 min. walk to the train station. A great value!.
Great location good atmosphere-nice courtyard for sitting outside very helpful staff -quaintness of the buildings and french style added to the pleasure of staying at Least Concorde. Great base to view the beautiful lavender region of the Luberon.
Our room was on the back side, quiet with a nice view. We used the onsite parking. We advise renting a small car due to the size of the parking spaces and the width of the streets in general. The breakfast was very nice.
I stayed only for 1 night, not much to say - the personal was very
friendly, location is rather good, quiet at nights and 10 min till the
bus station and the main street Mirabeau. Clean, comfortable and very
nice room.
There was a nice atmosphere, a huge comfy bed (and even though it was freezing there was heated up well), the staff was very helpful and polite and overall it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had!.

Staff was excellent. Two desk clerks spoke English as rudimentary as my French, but with both of us motivated to communicate, we made it through just fine.

The Concorde is well situated to the Cours Mirabeau and it is easy to walk to most tourist sites. The Hotel is a comfortable and friendly place.

The hotel should be a bit renovated: especially the facade as it looks
rather uninviting and gloomy. The rooms should be refreshed a little
bit: the old lighting, etc.The hotel is not easily located if you
arrive at the Gare routiere, so check your itinerary well. We thought
that were to arrive at Gare sncf, which is close to the hotel, but it
wasn't the case and it was rather disorientating as we didn't
have a proper map...
Pillows! A narrow bolster and a lumpy continental square pillow were not
conducive to sleep but given the rest of the hotel was a pleasure to
stay in we were prepared to put up with them.
No dislikes but observations for others. Reception is up six steps and then an elevator. I wish hotels would put plugs next to mirrors or vice versa for hairdryers, curling irons.
No English speaking channel on tv.
no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and although there was a TV in the room on
Y French channels were available.
Our room was small and the bed was old.
When smone was using a key to open the door to their room it was very
loud as the lockers are old and mine wasn't even opening from the
first time, I had to push the door.

Breakfast and on site parking a bit overpriced. Missing the hotel on the
first circuit caused a huge problem with getting back to it due to one
way traffic. Noise from rooms above an issue. Some maintenance on
bathroom fittings required.
The street noise was unpleasant, especially with the drunks during the wee hours. I understood completely the price break for the street-side rooms. Once I downloaded a white noise app, it no longer bothered me.
My room was guite small. It was the last one to get at the time, I can probably get a better one another time.
Breakfast a bit boring as often in France...(says a guest spoiled with scandinavian breakfasts) But I appreciated the cheese!.
Nothing but to be really picky the mattress was a bit dippy.

I didn't like having keys to lock my bedroom every time I walked across the hall to the bathroom, and then lock the bathroom every time. And then if I forgot something in the bedroom, I had to go back and unlock it... I also didn't like that the shower had no shower curtain, so water got everywhere when I showered.
