Hôtel de Gantès ligt in het centrum van Aix-en-Provence, naast het café Deux Garçons, dat vroeger bezocht werd door beroemde kunstenaars als Cézanne en Picasso. Alle kamers hebben een lcd-televisie en een minibar. Sommige beschikken over een balkon met uitzicht op de stad. Bij aankomst staat er een welkomstpakket met heerlijke thee en koffie voor u klaar. Het hotel biedt een continentaal ontbijt, dat in de ontbijtzaal geserveerd wordt. Het hotel is bereikbaar met een lift en beschikt over een 24-uursreceptie met kranten. De accommodatie ligt aan de Cours Mirabeau, op minder dan 500 meer van de boetieks, restaurants en kunstgaleries. De A8 is met de auto in 5 minuten te bereiken. Er is betaalde, openbare parkeergelegenheid in de buurt. Tegen een toeslag biedt het hotel een parkeerservice.

Our stay at the Hotel De Gantes was amazing Marc the proprietor was so friendly and helpful advising us where to go and what to see showed us what the suites were like we have to go back just to stay in one ! Room was beautiful and the location ideal everything was within walking distance this is definitely the place to stay in aix en Provence we will be returning again and again.

Unless your room os on the first floor you do mot pass reception and you may not see anyone for your entire stay. A bit difficult to unload suitcases due to its restricted location but made easier by helpful staff and detailed instructions. Nothing. Some lights not working. Shower gel and soap not replenished. Sugar and milk not replenished. Very expensive Parking 25 euro. The fact that is suurounded by pedestrian streets and we had to park 5 minutes' walk away (not usualy a problem, but we had to carry everything that distance). Also, do not try the restaurant on the ground floor - it looks great and has an impressive history, but was a big disappointment. Dull hotel..no facilities.Very difficult to find.
