  I initially booked this B&B because of it's secure parking on site. This was perfect for our purpose, and much more besides. Our Saint Martin room was charming, clean, well designed and very peaceful. The grounds are charming and the location is walkable in to Tours. The owners were very polite and helpful and we really couldn't fault our stay... wat mensen zeggen » . - Dominique and Virginie are the perfect hosts. They made us welcome from the first minute, and did everything they could to help us to enjoy the beautiful city of Tours. La Héraudière is a lovely house with a delightful garden, and our room was stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was a particular pleasure.

  We booked this hotel at the last minute. We hadn't researched like normal and had no idea what to expect. We only went on reviews for our booking. We arrived around 9:00 PM. Wow! The initial impression of Art Hotel is fantastic! It is a very old stately looking mansion that is now a hotel. We drove up the windy lane that leads to the hotel. The host Pierre-Antoine was delightful and helped us book the gourmet restaurant Charles Barrier nearby. We stayed one night, then went cycling through Loire and returned 5 days later. They kept our bags and had them in the room. Great service! The rooms are astonishing. This design hotel mixes the baroque beautiful castle with very modern black-and-white design elements. The rooms in the castle are huge and of very high standards.

  Nice freshly renovated room. Location good for those travelling by car but far enough from the center of Tours and railway station. Very good location for visiting the Châteaux of the Loire Valley. I enjoyed my stay and hope to be back. - Beautiful old manor but so warm and inviting. Absolutely loved it and would definitely return. Easy parking.

The food was excellent, although the menu was limited and didn't change for the three nights we were there. Tours is a very upmarket and cosmopolitan area with lots of historical sites.   Hotel is situated in a quite area on the opposite side of the river to the town. A short walk across the bridge and your are in the centre. The rooms were good and we had a ground floor room which opened onto a small area with outside seating which was great as it was hot. No air con but as it was quiet we could leave window open. Everything was immaculately clean. The WiFi was good - not super fast but good enough to check emails / browse the web. Breakfast was good with bread, yoghurt, compote, jams, honey and fresh coffee. The onsite parking was a bonus and being able to park right outside your room was good.

Alexandra (owner) was very helpful in showing us the area and answered all our questions in perfect English...even made us restaurant reservations.
