We were able to check-out around 9pm to catch a midnight train as no one had booked for that night so that was handy.   We loved everything about the Alchymist. We had original booked at their sister hotel but because we were travelling in a group of four there wasn't enough room so the upgrade us to this hotel. All I can say the staff were excellent, I emailed on how do we get there from the train and they sent a driver to pick us up and it was complimentary. Walking distance to everything. - Kudos to Albina and Alex did an excellent job and treated us like part of the family.   The apartment was very nice and clean, looked exactly like on the pictures. The cleaning lady showed up every day and did a very thorough job. The staff is extremely helpful. Centre is walking distance. Although the street is noisy, you hear nothing inside. The bedroom is at the backside, where you can open the window (without streetnoise). I can recommend it for sure.

The apartment house was full, but they had rooms in the hotel and they sent us over not making us pay a penny. Amazing people, great attitude!   Excellent location, right beside the stairs to the castle! I’m glad that I ordered the shuttle from the hotel to pick us up to and from the airport coz the hotel is far from the airport (but close to tourist area). Apartment: big and clean. There is construction going on when I was there but since we are there for the weekend, all workers are of... wat mensen zeggen » f. However, the Monday morning we left is a bit noisy as they are back to work. One more thing is that letsbookhotel.com and the hotel both charges - hostess texted me with directions which was helpful. We loved the terrace, especially lounging in the evening after "touristing" all day. It's close to the city, very clean rooms, fridge, small bathroom and shower, but adequate. Place is very roomy, ceiling is slanted and a bit low, so be careful getting up!
